For the first time, London Fashion Week introduces a new format event that will take place within the official Show Space at The Store X, 180 Strand.
London Fashion Week is a trade event organised by the British Fashion Council (BFC). Taking place this Friday 15th to 19th February. If you are in London don’t miss the chance to take a look at the new fashion trends.
It happens twice a year: once in February, when autumn/winter collections are shown, and once in September, for the spring/summer collections. Traditionally, the aim has been to give designers the opportunity to showcase their new collections ahead of when they will be available for purchase.
It’s an opportunity for buyers and editors to see what brands have planned for next season and identify the key trends and pieces that influence which clothes we see in shops, on websites and in magazines.
London Fashion Week is all about the amalgamation between heritage brands and fresh talent. While established brands such as Erdem, Christopher Kane and Roksanda are always highlights on the schedule, this season all eyes will once again be on Burberry, which will present its second collection under the reins of artistic director Riccardo Tisci, who took over from Christopher Bailey in March last year.
London Fashion Week: Insiders will host a series of Q&A interviews and panel discussions with designers and fashion industry experts. With previous talks hosted by David Gandy, Alex Shulman and Maisie Williams, covering topics such as careers in the industry, women in fashion and living your best Instagram life, it’s your opportunity to hear from professionals.
