Prince William – The Royal Birthday

The Duke of Cambridge was born at 9.03pm on 21st June 1982, at St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, London. A bulletin announced that the Royal baby weighed 7lb 1 1/2oz.

Today prince william turns 31 years old, a beautiful mark a few days from the new royal baby is expected to be born. What a better present for the Prince william than is own child in his arms? Still we have to wait a couple weeks, the expected date is 7 july so we thought about some royal gifts that we could offer to the prince williams.

A little of Prince williams life history

On 4th August 1982, Prince William Arthur Philip Louis was christened by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Robert Runcie, in the Music Room at Buckingham Palace.

After attending Mrs Mynors School, His Royal Highness became a pupil at Wetherby School in London, from 15th January 1987 until 5th July 1990.

From September 1990, the young Prince attended Ludgrove School in Berkshire, for five years until 5th July 1995. He then attended Eton College from July 1995 and studied Geography, Biology and History of Art at A Level.

After a period of work experience, The Duke joined the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst as an Officer Cadet.

He was commissioned as an army officer in front of Her Majesty The Queen at Sandhurst in December 2006 and joined the Household Cavalry (Blues and Royals) as a Second Lieutenant.

On 29th April 2011, His Royal Highness married Miss Catherine Middleton.  The couple are now known as The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

On 3rd December 2012, St James’s Palace released a statement that Their Royal Highnesses were pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting a baby. 

The other official titles given by The Queen on His Royal Highness’s wedding day are The Earl of Strathearn and The Baron of Carrickfergus.

The official residence of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge is Kensington Palace, but their main home is on Anglesey, where The Duke is a serving Search and Rescue Officer.  Their Household office continues to be based at St. James’s Palace.

The Duke is a fully operational Search and Rescue Pilot with the Royal Air Force, based at Anglesey, Wales.

He hoppe that prince William has a great Birthday.
